Seeing charging pause, stop, resume, or start later than expected is often a normal part of AllDayEnergy's optimization strategy and does not necessarily mean that charging has failed.
AllDayEnergy continuously optimizes charging based on multiple factors, including:
• Your selected Ready-By Time
• Your target State of Charge (SoC)
• Electricity price signals and tariff information
• Grid conditions
• Weather forecasts
• Vehicle characteristics (e.g., charging capability and battery status)
• Home charging speed and charger characteristics
As a result, AllDayEnergy may:
• Start, stop, and restart charging several times during a charging session.
• Delay charging even when electricity prices appear low.
• Temporarily stop charging and resume later.
This behavior is intentional and forms part of the optimization process designed to ensure that the vehicle reaches the desired SoC by the configured Ready-By Time while maximizing the benefits of smart charging.
